Part II: Converting the problem-aware customer
We aim to take the problem-aware customer and use the following process to nurture them into a buying customer.
1. Capture customer
Create a free gift that contains some IP of value that solves your customers’ biggest problems. Eg: Use a popluar article to create a how-to document.
2. Collect customer email
Collect the customer's email address via a capture form and follow-up with a confirmation page containing the download.
3. Nurture customer
Use the content of lead document to send a series of follow-up value-based emails to nurture the customer.
4. Engage customer
Open a conversation with the client by sending a personalised email asking a question relevant to your customer type.
5. Send an offer
Send the customer an offer of a free giveaway service; 15 minute Skype session, survey analysis etc.
6. Subscribe to insights
Let the customer know you’re going to send them regular insight articles that they may find valuable.
